Taibo Li receives Henry Ford II Scholar Award

6-2 alum Taibo Li ’15 has received the Henry Ford II Scholar Award from MIT’s School of Engineering. Established by a grant from the Ford Motor Company in 1977, the award goes to an undergraduate who, at the end of his or her third year of study at MIT has achieved the highest academic standing in the School. Additionally, Taibo was named to a Peter J. Eloranta Undergraduate Summer Fellowship for his proposal “Modelling patient status in intensive care units using real-time hidden Markov model.” Li is currently working as a research assistant at Massachusetts General Hospital under Dr. Kasper Lage Hansen, where he is studying protein-protein interaction networks and cancer networks.
