Four MIT EECS graduate students were among the 26 students selected worldwide as recipients of the 2021 Facebook Fellowship, which recognizes graduate students conducting cutting-edge research across all aspects of computer science and engineering, including computer vision, programming languages, computational social science, and more. Those students are:
Liang Shi, advised by Wojciech Matusik.
Shuang Li, advised by Antonio Torralba.
Jialin Ding, advised by Tim Kraska.
Yuval Dagan, advised by Constantinos Daskalakis.
Now in its 10th year, the Facebook Fellowship has supported more than 144 PhD candidates from a broad range of universities. This year, the Fellows were selected from 2,163 applications from over 100 universities worldwide.
